Great place to eat while at DFW awaiting your next flight. The atmosphere was a bit throwback with classic vibes. The service was excellent, kept the drinks coming, and was always checking on us. The food was sublime! Everything was exactly what was expected, and portion size was huge.

Stop here if you have the time- it’s well worth it. I’m constantly traveling and genuinely disappointed when my connection isn’t DFW because I eat here every chance I get. I’ve eaten at every iteration in DFW, and it is always amazing. My go to’s are the Catfish Opelousas and the Blackened Salmon Alexander. Perfection. For appetizers, I recommend the gumbo and alligator. For drinks, from craft beers to their house made specials- you simply can’t go wrong. I seriously only get drinks here and have tried everything on their menu, if that tells you anything. Their Bloody Mary is my favorite though. If you’re in a rush or questioning, there are takeout options or you can request your entree be served in a takeout container just in case.

Talk about delightful seafood at the airport say what?? It was so yummy and very filing. We split a couple of appetizers, and they were MORE than large enough. Must try, if you love seafood

Papa Deaux is a unique find at the airport. This is a high class seafood restaurant in a fast paced location. If you have the time to sit down and enjoy a meal plan, on a good hour. This is an excellent place to relax and forget about the rush going on above you. Yes, I said above you. The entire location is down an escalator or elevator so it feels like you could be anywhere other than a bustling airport terminal. DFW terminal gate A26 to be more exact. The atmosphere is upscale and the staff very professional. Everything about his place says quality. Even the house salad is a step up over the ordinary. The jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon stuffed with cheese was a flavor explosion. I had the nicest waitress with a beautiful smile (Tiffany?)that made the meal a great experience not just good food. Of course it's in an airport so you're going to pay a premium for a good meal. I think it is well worth it if you have the time and the budget for a very good experience.

At here at 7:00 at night on a Tuesday and we’re seated right away. Arlen was our server and was friendly, helpful, and checked in with us routinely. The Mississippi Catfish was pretty good, and the dirty rice was amazing. The trout entree was also good. Fairly expensive but it is an airport and the portions are rather large. The N/A blood orange drink is amazing.

This was the best seafood I've had in my life. The chef created a work of art of perfectly balanced flavors between the richness of the butter, the spices used, and the pillowy perfect texture of the Snapper. Wes, my server, was diligently attentive, a kind conversationalist, and my glass was never empty. He is what every server should strive to emulate. If you have the time to stop by Pappadeaux before your flight, you won't regret the service or the meal.

I always get to the airport a little early to eat here. The chopped salad with fried crawfish is my absolute favorite salad. Great food, you leave feeling full but not sluggish because of the freshness and quality of the food. Great place to relax for a few minutes before a flight.

The restaurant is located near gate A24 and Skylink. You have to take an elevator to get there. Food was delicious and well prepared, but supper expensive. Two drinks, one appetizer and a Chefs Selections entree plus 20 percent gratuity, we spent over 100. My daughter had the BAKED CRAB MAC & CHEESE, it was cheesy. Could use more crab meat on it. The RAINBOW TROUT & CRAB was amazing. Combination of toasted almonds, brown butter, lump of crab meat and trout was an explosion of favorite in the mouth. I am also happy to see that the Old Fashion was made with Buffalo Trace. LIFE'S A PEACH was good and refreshing. The service was the best part of our dining experience. Our waiter (from Jordan) was very personable and good at his job.
